Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides broad public access to many court records, but Cobb County does not have one universal public docket portal. The Cobb County Courts directory routes users among Superior Court, State Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, Juvenile Court, and other court offices. The Georgia Courts E-Access directory is also a provider guide, not a single search screen for every Georgia case.
That split matters because the custodian changes with the case. Connie Taylor, Clerk of Superior Court, keeps Superior civil, domestic, felony, order, docket, and real-estate records. Tahnicia Phillips, Clerk of State Court, handles State Court civil, misdemeanor, traffic, calendar, and filing records. Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and municipal clerks maintain their own records and access rules. The goal here is to make those distinctions easier to follow.

What We Cannot Do
This is a private reference resource, not a Cobb County or Georgia court office. It cannot take the place of the clerk or judge, and it does not have authority over a case. The limits are straightforward:
- It cannot retrieve an official Cobb docket sheet or case file for a requester
- It cannot set, confirm, continue, or reset a court date
- It cannot seal, unseal, remove, or amend a case entry
- It cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or filing
- It cannot give legal advice about a charge, claim, order, or deadline
- It cannot promise that an office phone number, fee, calendar, or procedure will remain unchanged
The official or certified copy must come from the court or clerk that holds the record. A Cobb County court directory can help identify that office, but a private reference resource cannot authenticate the document.
Search Partners
Some search boxes may be operated by outside providers. Those providers control their own services, prices, data handling, and result sets. A paid referral may generate revenue that helps support the resource, but it does not make the outside provider a Cobb County clerk, and it does not make a result an official court record.
